The new hospital replaced the existing hospital that was built in 1919 with state-of-the-art equipment and new LDRPs which are new to Wabash Hospital. The facility offers an Emergency Department open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and staffed with nurses who are all ACLS certified as well as an in-house physician. Other areas of service include a Surgery Department featuring two operating rooms and one surgical suite. Surgical services include general and colorectal, podiatry, ENT, gynecology, urology and orthopedic. Surgical patients can recover in the Prep/Recovery area, the Medical/Surgery Unit, or, when necessary, in the four-bed Critical Care Unit.

Parkview Wabash Hospital also offers oncology, cardiology, home health care and hospice, sleep center, lab, radiology (on-site MRI and 40-slice CT scan), a women’s center, a walk-in clinic and senior behavioral health.
