The Taylor Community School Corporation and the Taylor Township community has a multi-purpose space designed and built to host a variety of school and community activities. Located adjacent to Taylor High School, the project provides a dedicated and efficient connector between the school and the Activities Center. The progressive design-build team maximized the use of existing support amenities and infrastructure while accommodating additional features in the pre-engineered building that houses three regulation-sized high school basketball courts, a three-lane walking track, striping and equipment for additional athletic events, two ceiling-hung batting cages, pickleball courts, and portable bleachers. Along with the addition of the Community Center, Hagerman remodeled roughly 2,000 SF of existing areas that are used for coaches’ offices, film rooms, and storage areas.
