Hagerman was commissioned to renovate 5,000-square-feet of Circle Centre Mall along Georgia Street, between Illinois and South Meridian streets, in downtown Indianapolis. The project was a tenant fit-out of the upscale burger joint involving a large amount of millwork and high-end finishes. The Ivy League-themed burger restaurant is a spin-off of Indianapolis’ most famous place to eat, St. Elmo Steakhouse. Hagerman self-performed masonry, concrete and carpentry on this nearly 200-seat restaurant with a timeless aesthetic donning cherrywood accents, burgundy button-tufted booths and a pressed-tin ceiling.
