One of the reasons we’ve been able to maintain our leadership in the highly volatile, very competitive construction industry for better than a century is that we have always been open to innovative ideas and technologies.
We use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to help your leadership and trustees better understand and minimize your facility’s operating costs. Once construction begins, you can be confident that the site will be safe, clean and organized — with clear communication of any disruptions to the campus’s activities.
Throughout our history, we’ve remained at the forefront of the industry by being an early adopter of new technologies and practices that have strengthened our company and allowed us to be more responsive to the needs of building owners. As evidence, consider these examples:
- Our team began to use Computer Aided Design (CAD) in 2001
- We began using Autodesk® Revit® Architectural, Autodesk® Revit® MEP and Navisworks in 2010 for phasing, coordination and 3D modeling.
- Our first professional to achieve LEED accreditation did so in 2003
- We constructed Indiana’s first LEED-certified building in 2005
- Our professionals began to use Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology and 3D design in 2009
