For more than a century, the Hagerman name has stood as a symbol for high-quality construction that has earned the trust of a broad range of clients, and for bringing innovation and leadership to an ever-changing industry.
Now being led by the third and fourth generation of the Hagerman family, our success as a company has largely been the result of so many talented and dedicated people who have put our solid work ethic and belief in treating our customers, affiliates, and the community with respect into practice.
In 1908, William Hagerman and brother-in-law Frederick Buesching began our company in Fort Wayne, Indiana. During the 1940s, William’s sons Theodore and William O. stepped into leadership roles, followed by Theodore’s son Mark in 1978. Today, Mark and his son, Jeff, continue to build upon the foundation William and Frederick established. Our company has grown both by expanding the services it offers, and through the 1998 acquisition of nationally-recognized construction manager Geupel DeMars.
Throughout our history, we’ve paired our focus on quality and safety with the willingness to pioneer new technology and building practices. You’ll see that today in our leadership in LEED construction and technology such as Building Information Modeling (BIM). But no matter how much our company and our industry have evolved, we’ve never lost sight of our original vision of excellence through commitment to quality, service and integrity — and we never will.
