Safety

Safety is paramount for all Hagerman Group projects. Due to a proactive safety program our EMR is .66. This is based upon an annual average of one million self-performance man-hours.

We are proud to be a MICCS Certified firm. By awarding MICCS Certification, the MICCS board recognizes that The Hagerman Group demonstrates a commitment to worker safety, and that we have had considerable success in achieving this goal.

Our Safety Department is staffed by a Corporate Safety Director, Assistant Safety Director and Administrative Assistant of Safety. The goal of our safety department is to involve each employee both in our offices and on our jobsites in the Hagerman safety program. This involvement is maintained through a field employees’ newsletter, a safety participation program, an annual safety evaluation and monthly safety luncheons honoring our safest jobsites.

Hagerman binds all subcontractors to its safety program and requires Site Safety Orientation attendance. Weekly and monthly jobsite audits by supervisors and monthly management safety meetings also assist in the maintenance of our excellent safety record. We firmly believe the keys to our successful loss prevention program are the education and accountability found in our corporate safety policy.

Because accidents are preventable, we are committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees and clients. Hagerman knows that a safe project is ultimately a productive and efficient project.
